An American Favorite Minus The Cancer

This is hands down one of the BEST Raw Vegan Meals I’ve made.

 

Inspired from the Hippocrates Health Institute cookbook! 

 

I love this recipe because you can do so much with it, I’ve made burger patties, ‘meat’balls, and nut loafs. This recipe is pretty large too, it makes enough to last a few days. 

 

And it’s soooooooo yummy! Everyone who’s tasted it (even the meat lovers) loved it!

 

Ingredients:

3 Cups Pecans, Soaked Overnight

3 Cups Walnuts, Soaked Overnight

2 Red Bell Peppers, Chopped

1 Cup Chopped Carrots

2 Tbsp Paprika

1 Tbsp Garlic Powder

1 Tbsp All Purpose Seasoning

Braggs Liquid Aminos to Taste

Stir In:

1 Cup Onion, Finely Diced

1 Cup Celery, Finely Diced

 

Instructions: 

In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except the onion and celery. Mix well.

Process this mixture through an appropriate juicer using the blank (homogenizing) attachment.

Season to taste.

By hand, mix in the onion and celery.

Form into a patty on a dehydrator tray; use a teflex sheet or unbleached parchment paper beneath.

Dehydrate overnight.

 

I used a Raw Portobello as the bun, “no honey, honey mustard, Cheesy Sauce, and a side of Smokey Jicama Fries” (I will be posting those recipes soon!)
