LET’S TALK ESSENTIAL OILS!

LET’S TALK ESSENTIAL OILS!

Health Heroes! ‍♀️

Let’s talk Essential Oils!

Tim talked about Essential Oils the other day on Group Coaching and I became inspired to go a little more in depth and write a post on them as well!

First things First, What are they?

“Each bottle of essential oil contains a unique blend of chemical constituents. These compounds are volatile and organic, meaning they quickly evaporate and their chemical structures are primarily composed of carbon atoms. Constituents can produce powerful effects through their interaction with cellular targets. Some constituents can attach to receptors located on the outside of a cell to influence changes within it, while others can readily pass through the cellular membrane and bind to enzymes, proteins, and even DNA. Understanding how essential oils induce beneficial effects through chemical interactions can lead to a renewed sense of confidence in their use and inspire new opportunities for application in daily life.”

Essential oils pass through the blood/brain barrier and go directly into the blood steam, which means you get all the benefits within seconds!

Benefits that range all over! There is literally an Essential Oil for EVERYTHING!

You can use Essential Oils for:

Cooking/Adding Flavor

Cleaning your home

Body and Skin Care

Diffusers (in your home or car)

Internally (as medicine)

Personally, I have essential oils going 24/7. I like to use energizing and clearing essential oils (Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Spearmint, Tangerine, ect) during the day and typically relaxing essential oils in the evening (Lavender, Frankincense, Vanilla, ect.)

Each essential oil has its own magical qualities. ✨

Frankincense for instance is known as the “King of Oils” it is known to support healthy cellular, immune, nervous, and digestive function when used internally. It’s also known to have anti-aging properties, reduce the appearance of scars and acne, and helps heal wounds. It does this by killing harmful germs and bacteria. And in case you thought it couldn’t get any better, It’s been known to improve memory, balance hormones, and improve sleep. And this is just a tip of the iceberg on this King of an Oil.
