NATURES NATURAL REMEDY FOR ANXIETY!

NATURES NATURAL REMEDY FOR ANXIETY!

Health Heroes! ‍♀️

Did you know that 1 in every 14 people are diagnosed with an Anxiety Disorder? Just In the U.S., anxiety disorders are among the most common mental illnesses, affecting 40 million adults each year!

We believe over here that the number one reason for anxiety is over stimulation.

Television, Phones, Video Games, Driving, Music, Caffeine, Lights. These things all stimulate and ramp up our nervous system.

That’s why when we spend time out in nature (away from all these things) we feel almost instantly ‘brought down’ and soothed.

But for those of you who don’t have access to nature when you need it most, I’m going to let you in on a little secret and tell you all about a natural remedy for this over stimulation.

Kava Root!

Straight from nature itself!

Kava Root helps calm the nervous system. In the same way Alcohol does but without all the harmful, mind bending, side effects.

“Scientific research has pinpointed its effectiveness whereby in terms of neurotransmission, feel good vibes are sent to the brain which then aids muscle relaxation, increases concentration, decreases insomnia, lowers inhibitions and can also be suitable for pain such as back aches or hyperactivity in children.”

If you are looking for something in the evening to help you come down (on those nights when you’re feeling “wired”) Then kava root is a great option!

As far as day to day use. There isn’t really enough solid information out there to say for sure. But we believe balance with everything is key. No one supplement should be a “cure all” You don’t want to become reliant on anything. Just use kava root for that little extra support and don’t use it as a crutch to sustain an imbalanced lifestyle.

A few other things you could do is Meditate. Take a bath. Sauna. and Stretch!

All of these things help to slow down that “doer” (the part of us that’s been conditioned to constantly be doing something) and return back to presence.

Happy Monday Everyone!
