Would you say that you are in tune with your authentic self?
Do you understand the value of your words?Β
Do you trust yourself?
These are all important questions to ask yourself. Understanding the value of our words, doing what we say we are going to do when we say we are going to do it, and trusting yourself in that process is what it means to be in touch with your authentic self.Β
Most people, especially these days, say one thing and do another.Β
This creates distrust between self and others. This is a recipe for disconnect, and the feeling of βThereβs something missingβ or βthereβs something wrongβΒ
Itβs time we understand and know that our word is sacred.Β
That what we SAY matters.
And most importantly, what we DO matters.Β
Imagine living in a world where everybody did what they said they were going to do?Β
This is a part of ourselves that we have grown out of touch with.Β
So where do you start with becoming more in tune with your authentic self?
Be honest with yourself.Β
Only say you are going to do the things that you TRULY want to do.Β
Start small.Β
If you say you are going to start being more conscious of your morning routine, start by adding one thing at a time. Maybe thatβs warm lemon water, maybe itβs meditation or breath work. Whatever that might be for you, start by adding one thing at a time and stick to it.Β
Being true to our word is like a muscle that we have to exercise. Donβt get too far over your head. Donβt try to take on too much, this is a recipe for disappointment.Β
Start small.Β
Slowly but surely you will regain trust in yourself and feel confident in your ability to make decisions and in doing so you become in touch, in tune and tapped into your authenticity. And I canβt say there is a much better feeling to embody then that!Β Β
