I made these yummy Plant Based Protein Snacks yesterday and WOW! I'm obsessed. They are the perfect little treat to keep in your freezer or fridge for those moments when you want a little sweet something.
I found this recipe on instagram and made it more digestible and nutrient dense by adding Sprouted ingredients.
½ Cup Sprouted Cashew Butter
½ Cup Organic Peanut Butter Powder
½ Cup Sprouted Oat Flour or ¾ Cup Sprouted Almond Flour
¼ Cup Maple Syrup
1 Tsp Alcohol Free Vanilla Flavoring
1-3 Tsp Sprouted Cashew Milk
Dash of Sea Salt
Mix Cashew Butter, Maple Syrup, Alcohol Free Vanilla Flavoring and Salt together.
Add Oat flour (Or Almond) and Organic Peanut Butter Flour then add Cashew Milk.
Put into a small dish and top with Chocolate Chips. Freeze for at least 2 hours, and enjoy!
I like to leave mine in the freezer but if you like them a little softer you can move them to the fridge. Enjoy within 5-7 days!
Couple side notes: Making your own oat flour is super easy, Just add to blender and blend till fine. Same with Cashew Milk. Add Cashew Butter to the blender, Mix with desired water (less will make it a thinker milk and vice versa) and blend till milky like consistency.
